The 4th Annual Eastern Ontario Garlic Festival will be accepting applications from garlic growers, producers, food vendors, artisans,  musicians, community groups, and resources. There will be limited space If you would like to join in this celebration be sure to stay tuned for updates.

To qualify as a vendor or exhibitor for this festival, all products or services must be grown or created in Eastern Ontario, using primarily Ontario produce and or supplies.  Vendors must live in Eastern Ontario.   Not sure what we mean about Eastern Ontario?  Click here to see if you are on the map.

Note: The Eastern Ontario Garlic Festival is produced by volunterrs with the purpose to showcase local food assetts and community. We work on the foundation of kindness and collaboration. All participants are asked to honour this perspective as we build this unique event together. Thank you.

Qualification Criteria and Information

  • Read all information below before registering. The full contract for vendors will be prepared and sent to you in August 2018. 
  • As a vendor for this festival, you have produced or created all of your products or services in Eastern Ontario, using primarily Ontario produce and or supplies.
  • Non-Refundable, no exceptions.
  • As a vendor, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own third party insurance, and may be asked to email a certificate to the producers.
  • Exhibitor spaces will be delegated to the producers based on registration date.  Space requests can be made by vendors who registered before June 1st.
  • Prepared food vendors and those providing tasters, must follow Eastern Ontario Health Unit Safe Food Vendor Requirements.
  • Vendor and Exhibitor setup starts at 6:30 AM.  Strike down at 5:00 PM.
  • Festival opens to the public at 9:00 AM at which time set-up must be completed.
  • Vendors booth themes…more info to come but think Canada.
  • All vehicles must be moved to the designated parking area at the Fairgrounds.  Vendor vehicles must be off grounds by 8:15 AM. No vehicles will be permitted on the premises during the festival. 
  • All vendors are required to come to the orientation meeting on the grounds at 8:30am.
  • Each Vendor registration includes one Fairgrounds access pass. All others must be purchased. 
  • As a vendor of the Eastern Ontario Garlic Festival you will be required to agree to terms stated in vendor contract which will be sent to you prior to the event.
  • Includes  12 x 12 space please note electricity is not available.
  • We Provide the Space Only.  Shelter, tables, chairs, power cords, etc. are the vendor’s responsibility.
  • Vendors who require refrigeration must bring coolers and ice.
  • The event will be held outdoors, in the event forecasted inclement weather the Festival will not be cancelled.  Rain or shine we are on.  
  • Please NO pets on vendors’ site.
  • As a vendor, you are invited to take part in a Vendor Booth Decorating Contest. Details to follow.
  • All participating vendors will be required to complete an evaluation on-site before departure as well as anonymously reporting their sales for the day (for internal purposes only). 
  • All participating vendors and volunteers are invited to contribute to the planning of the Eastern Ontario Garlic Festival.
  • Community groups, contributing artists and buskers are also required to meet the above regulations.
